- With little water resistance,
catamarans are able to sail faster than mono hulls. Not only is this
exhilarating and very comfortable, it also vastly extends your cruising
area and exploration time ashore.
- The two separate hulls stay in the water, giving you hardly any
heeling whilst sailing and much greater comfort for relaxing at anchor.
- With a length of 68 feet and a
beam of 28 measured feet AKKA has a very spacious deck, which you
will appreciate while sunbathing or just reading a book. There is
a normal standing height all over the boat and you can sit upright
in all beds.
- The boat is sloop rigged
with a battened mainsail, a staysail and a rollergenua. A large spinnaker
of around 3000 square feet is used on offwind courses. Two Yanmar
diesels move you around at anchoridges.
